We’re Pol and Lisa, a Slovak-French couple with one shared addiction: exploring the world.
Pol is a 28-year-old software engineer from Paris—though you'd rarely find him sitting still. When he’s not building apps, he’s chasing new thrills: skydiving, piloting planes, or figuring out how to cross borders most people never think of.
Lisa, 30, grew up in Trenčín, Slovakia, and spent years working in luxury hotels. She’s the one who always finds the coolest guesthouses, the best street food, and somehow becomes best friends with strangers in five minutes.
We met six years ago through Couchsurfing in Seattle and instantly clicked. Since then, we’ve been side by side—through every timezone, border crossing, and misadventure.
In 2023, we dropped everything and spent a year backpacking across Africa, from Cairo to Cape Town, mostly by local buses and shared taxis. It was raw, chaotic, and unforgettable.
Now we’re deep into our next chapter: slowly making our way across Asia, starting in Oman and aiming for China, one country at a time.
