Backpacking Africa from Cairo to Cape Town #20

After 6 months of travel, we made it to Malawi! A country we knew very little about but that exceeded our expectations in every way, making it one of our favourite countries in Africa. We spent 16 days hitchhiking and using public transportation following the lake south, until we reached Cape Maclear. The few days spent in that village will be remembered forever as true happiness to us.

Day n°196 of our 10-month journey through Africa. We're waking up in Mzuzu, Malawi and heading to Nkhata Bay, where we're staying at the Butterfly Space.
It's a pretty representative day, waking up at a Couchsurfer's, taking public transportation, meeting and playing with kids, walking a lot, reading, working a bit.
