For 30 days, we explored Uganda as much as we could, eating the street food, risking our lives on the boda boda, meeting a bunch of amazing people and eventually settling with a family in Kisoro.

We didn't know much about the country before-hand, so we were even more surprised to find this paradise. We hope that with this video we managed to share our love for Uganda and its people.

Thank you to everyone we met on the way, we are really lucky to only interact with beautiful people. Of course the landscapes and the food are nice, but it's 100% the encounters that made Uganda stand out.

Visiting Murchinson Falls NP was on our list from the moment we arrived in Uganda, but we never really took the time to check out how to actually visit it. Tours were expensive, and anyway we prefer to do it on our own. Here is a breakdown of the cost (for 2 persons) :
Car rental (4*4, for 2 days) : 100$
Petrol : 65$
Ziwa sanctuary: 100$
Murchinson entrance fee + car fee: 101$
Camping at the Top of the Falls: 0$
Boat tour: 70$
Total: 436$ (400€), for 2.

We volunteered through Workaway at the Kisoro Volcanic Organic Coffee farm in Western Uganda for 10 days. We got to experience the full journey from bean to cup and learned so much about coffee.
In this short video, we try to share our experience, give some insights about life on a coffee farm and we interview Ronald, the son of one of the pioneers of coffee farming in Uganda.
